Dharti Charitable Trust is a non-government development organization set up in 1999 and works as a catalyst for the betterment of rural communities by providing direct support to local communities to promote activities and empowerment.

The common goal is to help the poor achieve a level of self-reliance through organizing, mobilizing, awareness and various other activities. It is playing important role in getting them their due rights and concerned in providing social and economic justice to poor destitute rural masses.

The trust has pioneered several efforts in areas such as health, education, savings, water & sanitation,  conserving environment & biodiversity, self-employment &, alternative energy, better infrastructure facilities, natural resources, economic support programme promoting Farmer Clubs and Self Help Groups which empower rural communities (especially women and marginalised communities). The trust works through the community both at local and urban levels in Gujarat state of India. We believe that in the last 16 years, we have been able to make significant contributions on all these fronts.
